Then comes the part of the airshow half the guests actually fly in for: dinner, a manufacturer's reception, a long conversation on a terrace. One question: spend it with your inbox in the room — or have someone beside you who holds the table and doesn't ask the wrong questions. We're the second option. Twelve years of it.
Dinner
Zuma in DIFC. La Petite Maison. Nobu at Atlantis. After a day on open concrete — a table where it's quiet and nobody has to shout over engines.

About the forum
Dubai Airshow has run since 1989 — every two years, in odd years, in mid-November. It's the largest airshow in the Middle East and one of the three that matter globally alongside Paris and Farnborough. The organizer is Informa Markets, with Dubai Airports, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, the UAE Ministry of Defence and the UAE Space Agency as strategic partners. The 2027 edition is the twentieth.
The venue is the Dubai Airshow Site, a purpose-built ground beside Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) in Dubai South — the far south of the emirate, well off the usual tourist line: around half an hour from Dubai Marina, forty minutes and more from Downtown at peak hours.
The last edition gives the measure of the week. In 2025, 248,788 people came through the gates across five days — a record. More than 1,500 companies exhibited, 440 of them for the first time. There were 490 military and civil delegations from 115 countries, 21 national pavilions and 98 chalets. Announced deals passed 202 billion dollars, double the 2023 figure: Emirates took 65 Boeing 777-9s, flydubai 75 Boeing 737 MAX.
The crowd here is different from a technology expo. The show is closed: trade visitors only, you may be asked for a business card at registration, and under-18s aren't admitted to the main halls. Dress code is business attire or national dress. The people who come are airframer and carrier leadership, defence and government delegations, leasing companies, sovereign funds and business aviation operators. A lot of guests are in government service or in uniform, and that sets the tone of the week.
We've worked in Dubai since 2015 and this isn't our first edition of the airshow. The difference from other forums is where the discretion bar sits. Nobody here says "let's get a photo." Evenings are quieter, conversation more restrained, and nobody asks what the guest does for a living. We keep a separate roster for the week: fluent English, part of it Arabic for delegations from Riyadh, Doha and Abu Dhabi.

How we operate during the forum
In ordinary times we take bookings a day ahead. During the airshow — no. The city is full that week, hotels run at a hundred percent, and the models are booked out well before. So:
— The ideal lead time is three weeks before November 15. In that window we settle everything: type, languages, days, venues, dress code for specific evenings. Guests buy flights and rooms months out; the evenings are best closed in the same pass.
— The minimum lead time is five days. We'll take it, but the choice is limited to whoever's free.
— Same-day — only if a slot is open. On November 15–19 that's rare.
The languages we keep for the airshow:
- English — native or close to native; it's the baseline for the whole week
- Arabic — a dedicated roster for delegations from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar
- Russian — for CIS guests and industry delegations
- French — for European manufacturers; Chinese and Italian on request
What we do without being asked:
- Agree the dress code for the specific evening. We know the difference between a manufacturer's reception and a dinner for four in DIFC.
- Work out logistics from the Dubai South site, not the centre. Different distances, different departure times.
- Don't use the guest's work chat during the evening. All questions go through our manager, not the model.
- Keep in mind who's at the table. Plenty of guests here travel under protocol; work, rank and contracts are never a subject the model raises.
- Respect the local context. In a restaurant, a hotel lobby or at a reception we behave by local rules, without drawing attention.
Where guests stay
Airshow guests stay all over the city. Closest to the site are Jebel Ali and the Ibn Battuta area, usually where engineering teams and contractors are put up. Leadership and delegations stay on the familiar line — Marina, Palm, Downtown — and drive out to DWC. We work with every address, but there are hotels where we have established relationships with the concierges:

West Crescent, Palm Jumeirah. The side of the Palm that faces Jebel Ali. Low-rise, a private beach, the STAY restaurant. Around 30 minutes to the site. For guests who spend the day in the sun and want calm afterwards.
Atlantis The Royal
Crescent Road, Palm Jumeirah. Opened in 2023 and immediately became the draw for guests with a large budget: Nobu, Gaia, terraces over the bay. 35 minutes to the site. Chosen by those who want the evening on the resort itself.
Armani Hotel Dubai
inside the Burj Khalifa, Downtown. For guests who want the centre: the Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera and the DIFC restaurants fifteen minutes away. About 40 minutes to DWC, longer during arrival hours. It works when the day is the show and the evening is DIFC.
Bulgari Resort Dubai
Jumeirah Bay Island. Its own seashell-shaped island, a marina full of yachts, the Niko Romito restaurant. The most private option: few guests and no strangers in the lobby. Around 40 minutes to the site.

Forum day logistics
Airshow logistics are unlike any exhibition in the city: the venue sits beside a working airport, private cars aren't allowed at the entrance, and everything runs on Park & Ride.
Morning — the run out to the site.
The halls open at 10:00. Private cars park on Al Maktoum International grounds, and a shuttle runs from there to the Dubai Airshow Site and SkyView entrances. Guests taking the metro get off at Expo station, where the shuttle runs roughly 07:00 to 19:00. Departure from the Marina is around 09:00, from Downtown half an hour earlier.
Day — on the ground.
Mornings go to chalets and meetings; the flying display starts around 13:30 and runs to 17:00. The halls close at 17:30, with one day of the week open until nine. November in Dubai is mild, but a day on open apron is still hot — guests usually go back to the hotel to change, and that's built into the schedule.
Evening.
The most interesting part of the airshow isn't on the concrete. Manufacturer and national delegation receptions, dinners in DIFC and on the Palm: Zuma, La Petite Maison, Coya, Nobu at Atlantis, Gaia. Yacht evenings in Dubai Marina are a format of their own. Late venues on the rooftops we won't list in writing, but the manager will share the current list if you ask.
Back to the hotel — after midnight.
That's normal. We settle the schedule in advance: either the model accompanies you to the hotel or you say goodbye at the restaurant. The guest's call.

Dubai Airshow is one of our long-standing recurring cases in Dubai. Because it's biennial, each edition reads as its own week with its own character:
Dubai Airshow 2019 (November 17–21) — 84,043 visitors and 54.5 billion dollars in announced orders. The last pre-pandemic edition: more commercial aviation than defence, and a lot of European delegations.
Dubai Airshow 2021 (November 14–18) — the first major airshow anywhere after the pandemic, with 74 billion dollars in orders. The year everyone flew in simply because it was possible again. That week brought our first requests from defence delegations.
Dubai Airshow 2023 (November 13–17) — the 18th edition, more than 1,400 exhibitors from 95 countries, over 190 aircraft on the ground, 101 billion dollars in deals. Emirates announced an order for 90 Boeing 777Xs and flydubai took 30 Boeing 787-9s. The year it became clear that airshow week is a genuine peak for the city.
Dubai Airshow 2025 (November 17–21) — the 19th edition and a record on every line: 248,788 visitors, 1,500+ companies, 490 delegations from 115 countries, 202 billion dollars in deals. Our models with fluent English were gone by Tuesday. Plan ahead — that isn't a figure of speech.

Yes, the main channels are Telegram (@Apex_concierge) and WhatsApp. The guest's time zone doesn't matter — the manager replies within 5 minutes at any hour.
Do you have models with fluent English?
Yes, and for Dubai it's the baseline. Some are native level (study or life in the US and UK), others speak confident working English for a business dinner.
Arabic, French, other languages?
Arabic — a dedicated roster for the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. French — for European manufacturers. Chinese and Italian on request.
How discreet is this? I work in the defence sector.
The standard: we don't keep correspondence longer than 72 hours, photos from meetings are never published, and models sign an NDA. Extra requirements — no phone during the evening, incognito, a separate hotel entrance — are arranged case by case. At the airshow it's our most common conversation.
Dubai is a city with strict rules. Isn't that a problem?
We work carefully. In public places — the restaurant, the hotel lobby, a reception — the companion behaves as your guest, without drawing attention. Everything beyond that stays private.
Can I bring a companion to the airshow itself?
No, and that's a matter of principle. The show is closed and entry is by trade accreditation. We work with the evening half of the week: dinner, reception, program after 19:00.
Can I pay in dollars or dirhams?
Yes. We accept AED and USD in cash or by transfer; for CIS guests, rubles by arrangement. Cards aren't the most convenient option during the show days — best to check with the manager ahead.
What are the rates during the airshow?
A seasonal rate applies — 30–50% above standard. That's the November peak load, not the type of guest. The manager will send exact figures for your format.
What if I want a companion for dinner only, with no continuation?
A frequent request at the airshow. A business dinner at Zuma or La Petite Maison, conversation, parting at the restaurant — a separate format of 3–6 hours.
What if my request is cancelled?
Cancellation 48 hours out or more — no charge. 24–48 hours — 50%. Under 24 hours — 100%. During the show days there's no refund without a genuine reason: the slot is reserved for you in advance.
Can I book one model for several evenings in a row?
Yes, and it's the format we prefer — the guest and the model already know each other and the evenings run easier. A package of 3 days or more — 10–15% off.
Any guarantee the photo on the site is the model who'll arrive?
Mandatory video verification before the meeting. If the photos don't match — the model doesn't go. That's been the standard since 2018.
Do you work with delegations, not just private guests?
Yes. A separate roster with fluent English and Arabic for Gulf and Asian delegations. Languages, dress code and protocol are agreed for the specific reception.
A yacht evening in the Marina — do you arrange that?
The guest books the yacht himself or through his own organizer; our part is the companion for that evening. We agree the format in advance: departure time, duration, dress code, who else is on board.
I've arrived at the airshow with no booking — can anything be arranged now?
Message the manager and we'll see what's open in the next 2–3 hours. During the show days it's rare, but it happens.
