Real questions from APEX clients in Barcelona: matching, booking, hotels, travel, dress code, payment, confidentiality.
On average 30 to 120 minutes. On a weekday afternoon — closer to 30. Friday or Saturday from 21:00 — closer to two hours. During MWC week — its own mode, can run longer because of the load. If the scenario asks for a specific language (Chinese, Arabic, Korean) or particular requirements — add 30 to 60.
Yes, that's a working scenario. But the choice in that moment is narrower than a week ahead — the most-requested models are already in play. If you want a specific one, write earlier, minimum a day ahead.
Yes, and it's one of our main seasons. But we prepare for MWC from December and January. We take requests for late February to the first week of March well in advance. During the congress itself almost no premium-segment models are free, prices are individual. If you're planning — write as early as you can.
Hotel Arts, W Barcelona, Mandarin Oriental, Majestic, Casa Fuster, Cotton House, Almanac, Sofia Hotel — all receive guests calmly. This is Spanish premium, the privacy tradition here is strong. At boutique hotels and apart-hotels questions occasionally come up — the model is ready to show ID, that's normal.
Yes, 24/7. The late Catalan schedule is yours: dinners from 21:00, bars till 3-4 in the morning, clubs till 5-6. The manager replies, models travel. Morning meetings (before 11:00) happen too, but less often — in Barcelona that's an atypical format.
Sitges — 40 minutes south, a frequent format for a day or a night. Cadaqués on Costa Brava — 2 hours, for a weekend by the sea. Begur — 1.5 hours, a medieval village and bays. Girona — 1.5 hours, cultural programme. Andorra — 3.5 hours, skiing and tax-free. All trips agreed minimum 48 hours ahead, transfer and the road on the client.
English — most of our Barcelona base, at a strong level. Spanish — part of the models. Catalan — a few models with Barcelona roots. French, Italian, Chinese, Arabic — selectively, we clarify on request.
Yes. Yacht is a frequent Barcelona scenario from May through October. If you have your own yacht or a charter — the model meets you at the port, then everything is by agreement. A sea route along Costa Brava with dinner on board is a standard 6 to 12 hour format.
Cash USD and EUR. Bank transfer through the manager. Crypto — USDT TRC-20/ERC-20, BTC. Returning clients — post-payment, deposit arrangements. For MWC and major events — partial prepayment is agreed in advance.
In most cases — a 30-50% deposit a day before the meeting, the balance on meeting. Exact terms are set by the manager based on scenario and amount. For MWC and peak dates — prepayment is mandatory. For returning clients a deposit usually isn't required.
Discussed immediately, not after the fact. If on meeting it's clear the model arrived in different attire or the format isn't what was agreed — write to the manager that same hour. Depending on the cause: refund of part of the fee, replacement, scenario adjustment. Cases like this run under 2% with us, usually traced back to incomplete brief at the coordination stage.
Yes. We call it "client's private location". For a first meeting with a new client we usually suggest one of our proven options (hotel, restaurant). For returning clients — your address is agreed without further questions. The address isn't kept on file; it's passed only to the specific model for the specific meeting. In Barcelona the private format is especially relevant for rented villas in Pedralbes and Sarrià.
Yes, we have 48 cities. If you need a companion for a trip (around Spain, to Andorra, to Monaco, the French Riviera) — the manager either picks up our model from the destination city, or arranges for a Barcelona model to travel with you. Travel, accommodation, fee — separate.
From 24 hours to 7 days. Inside Catalonia — Cadaqués, Begur, Sitges. To Andorra — a ski or shopping weekend. To other Spanish cities — Madrid, Seville, Valencia. The model accompanies throughout: breakfast, daytime activities, evening. Travel, accommodation, meals — on the client; the model's fee separate.
Yes, a separate category with a separate price list. 2 hours — from $3,500, 4 hours — from $5,000, the rest by agreement. Access opens to returning clients after several successful collaborations. We don't put a new client into the media category for first contact.
Every profile goes through three stages: photo verification, an in-person meeting with a manager in Barcelona, a trial format. We take fewer than one in twenty. We check education, languages, ability to hold a conversation, manners, scenario experience. For the MWC pool — a separate check on the ability to hold a packed week-long schedule and to talk telecom and IT topics at a small-talk level.
A separate part of the base — models with cultural-event experience. They follow the repertoire at an informed-amateur level, hold the dress code, carry a conversation after the show. For a premiere — a long dress, restrained jewellery. Booked 5 to 10 days ahead.
We keep only what's needed for the current meeting. Afterwards — addresses, details, photos are wiped from working chats within 72 hours. Client data sits with the manager, access restricted. Not shared with third parties. We follow GDPR practices (Spain is an EU country, the requirements are tight). Deletion on request — within 24 hours.
Communication only through messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp). It's a deliberate position: all details in writing for accuracy, end-to-end encrypted messengers are more reliable than ordinary phone lines. For urgent matters messengers respond faster anyway.
Free of charge — minimum 12 hours ahead. Later — there may be a compensation share (usually 30% if the model is already en route). On the day, cancellation an hour before — payment of half the slot. Rescheduling with the same model — no penalty if she's free. For MWC and peak events the cancellation terms are tighter, agreed individually.
Barcelona is our principal city in Spain and one of the keystone Mediterranean hubs of the APEX network of 48 cities. APEX has been working since 2012; Barcelona is the Catalan maritime capital, Europe's design Mecca, the city of Mobile World Congress and Sónar — and all of these roles set the rhythm of our work here. Late schedule (dinners from 21:00, bars till 4 a.m.), tight peak seasons (MWC in February-March, summer from June through September), the specific dress code of Eixample and Born, the cultural programme of the Liceu and Palau de la Música — we hold all of it in our matching.
For hotel meetings we work in the five-star segment: Hotel Arts (a Ritz-Carlton on the sea), W Barcelona (Bofill's design "sail" on the beach), Mandarin Oriental on Passeig de Gràcia, Majestic on the same Passeig de Gràcia closer to Casa Batlló, Hotel Casa Fuster (Domènech i Montaner Modernisme), Cotton House Hotel, Almanac Barcelona, Sofia Hotel on Diagonal. In each of these hotels we have a guest-reception procedure in place; reception knows the format, no questions arise during the visit.
The hotel choice depends on the scenario. For a seaside evening with a continuation at Eclipse — Hotel Arts or W. For a business MWC format — Mandarin Oriental or Sofia Hotel. For a cultural evening with the Liceu — Cotton House or Mandarin (close to La Rambla). For European grand-hotel classics — Majestic. For architecturally inclined clients — Casa Fuster.
A Michelin dinner is the most frequent request. Disfrutar (3 stars, El Bulli lineage, №1 The World's 50 Best 2024), ABaC (3 stars, chef Jordi Cruz), Cinc Sentits (1 star). For an informal tapas format — Cal Pep in Born. Business accompaniment during Mobile World Congress is a separate season, requiring booking 2 to 3 months ahead. A seaside evening with a continuation at Eclipse Bar at the W is the classic "Barcelona" format. Opera at the Liceu or a concert at Palau de la Música Catalana — a cultural programme with a dress code. Yacht meetings in Port Olímpic and Port Vell — season from May through October. Weekends on Costa Brava — Cadaqués, Begur, Sa Riera. Football evenings tied to FC Barcelona at Camp Nou run during the renovation context: matches at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys while the Camp Nou rebuild continues — we adjust logistics for that. Add walking time to Sagrada Família into your daytime programme.
Our clients in Barcelona are American and Asian executives during Mobile World Congress (40,000 delegates in congress week), yacht visitors at Port Olímpic and Port Vell, Russian-speaking entrepreneurs (a sizeable Russian community in the city), guests at the Liceu and at Sónar (Primavera Sound in June and Sónar in summer pull a separate client tier), property owners in Pedralbes and Sitges. The shared trait — value placed on time, an understanding of European etiquette, a need for service without snags and an adaptation to the late Catalan rhythm. APEX doesn't take requests under two hours, mass events without a personal client, or sharing of model photos with third parties.
Requests come through Telegram or WhatsApp. The manager replies within 3 minutes at any time of day (24/7, including the late-night hours of the Catalan schedule). The manager offers 2 to 4 profiles fitting your scenario. After agreement the manager coordinates the details: place, time, the model's dress code, payment method, transfer. On the day of the meeting the model arrives at the agreed time at the hotel lobby, the restaurant, the pier at Port Olímpic, or the agreed point.
Trips outside Barcelona — Sitges, Cadaqués, Begur, Girona, Andorra, other Spanish cities, Monaco, the French Riviera — agreed at minimum 48-72 hours. Travel, accommodation, meals — on the client; the model's fee separate.
Standard Barcelona rate — from $1,200 for 2 hours to $6,000 for two days. In detail: 2 hours — $1,200, 4 hours — $1,500, night — $2,500, day — $4,000, two days — $6,000. Media-tier models — from $3,500 for 2 hours, $5,000 for 4 hours, access opens to returning clients. During Mobile World Congress prices are individual, above standard, agreed in advance. Payment — cash USD/EUR, bank transfer, crypto (USDT TRC-20/ERC-20, BTC). Returning clients have flexible terms: monthly deposits, post-payment.
Communication only through messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp) with end-to-end encryption. Client data is held in protected form by the manager, with restricted access. After the meeting addresses and details are wiped from working chats within 72 hours. Sharing information with third parties is architecturally impossible. We follow GDPR (Spain is an EU country, the requirements are tight), deletion on request — within 24 hours. This is one of the reasons our returning Barcelona clients have worked with us for years.
Returning client for two years. They work in different cities to the same standard — that is especially noticeable now as I move between countries often.
Confidentiality at the level of a Swiss bank. All communications on Telegram, nothing by email, nothing by SMS. After the meeting everything is wiped — I checked.
Dinner with partners — the format went well, the companion looked the part. One downside: the profile did not flag that the model smokes, I found out on site. Not critical, but I will ask next time.
Booked a companion for a four-day business trip. Visa, tickets, accommodation — all through my assistant, the model's fee on a separate track. Logistically clean.
In three years working with APEX there has not been a single meeting that made me want to switch agencies. That says a lot.
