Scenarios and venues in Ibiza

Meeting formats and venues we work with: five-star hotels in the centre, signature restaurants, theatres, private spaces.

A night at the club

The classic Ibiza night scenario, the one the island was built around. Dinner by 22:00, out to the club by one in the morning, the programme running until five or six. Hï if you want the island's main sound and two stages; Pacha if the evening starts in town and you want the classic club format with booths; Amnesia if the music and the terrace matter more than the polish. The model arrives at the entrance or straight to the table at the agreed time.

Place

Hï Ibiza

Platja d'en Bossa, opposite Ushuaïa, Sant Josep de sa Talaia

The island's main nightclub, on the site of the former Space. Two rooms — Theatre and Club — plus an open garden area. Residencies from leading international DJs, with the programme set by day of the week for the whole season. Doors open af…

Place

Pacha Ibiza

Avinguda 8 d'Agost, Eivissa

The oldest club on the island, running since 1973, with a cherry logo you recognise without the name. A classic indoor club format, unlike the open-air venues of Playa d'en Bossa: several rooms, private booths, a crowd far wider in age rang…

Place

Amnesia Ibiza

Carretera Eivissa–Sant Antoni, km 5, Sant Rafel de sa Creu

A club on the road between Ibiza and Sant Antoni, running since the seventies. Two big rooms: the Club Room and the Terrace with its famous cold-fog system. The crowd is more music-driven than on Playa d'en Bossa, and the programme leans to…

Tip: entry and the table are booked by you in advance — in July and August there is no getting inside without a reservation. And plan the return transfer: a taxi at five in the morning outside Amnesia means a twenty-minute wait.

A day at a beach club

The daytime format that most in-season meetings start with. Lunch around three in the afternoon, sunbeds at the water, music from midday to sunset. Blue Marlin in Cala Jondal is the busiest option, with a jetty for tenders; Cala Bassa has the most beautiful bay and the calmest rhythm; Nikki Beach in Santa Eulària is older and quieter than the south. Format from four hours.

Place

Blue Marlin Ibiza

Cala Jondal, Sant Josep de sa Talaia

The island's principal beach club, in the bay of Cala Jondal: a pebble beach, sunbeds at the water, a restaurant with Mediterranean and Asian cooking, a DJ from midday. You can see the yachts lying offshore from here — plenty of guests arri…

Place

Cala Bassa Beach Club

Platja de Cala Bassa, Sant Josep de sa Talaia

A beach club on the west coast, at one of the finest bays on the island: white sand, pines down to the water, turquoise shallows. Several restaurant zones, sunbeds and calm daytime music. Easy to reach by boat from Sant Antoni harbour.

Place

Nikki Beach Ibiza

Urbanització S'Argamassa, 153, Santa Eulària des Riu

The international chain's beach club on the grounds of ME Ibiza in Santa Eulària. White sunbeds, a pool, weekend daytime parties, a kitchen and champagne service. The crowd is older and calmer than in the south of the island.

Tip: book front-row sunbeds several days ahead, and leave a window of at least an hour and a half between the beach and the evening programme — after the sea, a look has to be put back together.

A day on a yacht

Half the clients in Ibiza stay on the water, and a day at sea is a scenario of its own. Out of Marina Ibiza or Ibiza Magna in the morning, anchoring in Cala Jondal for lunch at Blue Marlin or dropping into the Es Torrent cove, a swim off Es Vedrà, back by sunset. The model boards at the crew's invitation or is met by tender on shore.

Restaurant

Es Torrent

Platja des Torrent, Sant Josep de sa Talaia

A fish restaurant in a hidden cove on the south coast, with tables almost on the shingle. Catch of the day, rice with seafood, a long wine list. An island classic that locals rate above the fashionable addresses.

Tip: we fix the vessel's name, the berth and the captain's name in advance — without that we do not agree boarding. Shoes on a yacht are flat only; that is the crew's requirement, not ours.

Dinner and a show

An evening without a club, but with a programme. Lío on the Marina Botafoch front — dinner with a cabaret show and a view of the Dalt Vila wall, and after the show the room turns to dancing. Sublimotion at the Hard Rock Hotel takes the opposite approach: a gastronomic performance over several hours where the food and the staging are the same thing. Both options take the whole evening.

Restaurant

Lío Ibiza

Passeig Joan Carles I, Marina Botafoch, Eivissa

Dinner with a cabaret show on the marina front, facing the Dalt Vila wall. The stage works between courses, and after the show the room turns into a club. The only place on the island with a genuine evening dress code.

Hotel · 5-star

Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza / Sublimotion

Carretera Platja d'en Bossa, Sant Josep de sa Talaia

A large hotel on Playa d'en Bossa with its own beach area and daytime parties. Inside is Sublimotion, a gastronomic performance for a very limited number of guests per evening: a multimedia stage built around the table, a menu staged like t…

Tip: these are the only two addresses on the island with a genuine evening dress code — beach chic does not work here, and we brief the model separately.

A villa and the quiet island

The scenario for people who did not come for the clubs. The base is a villa in the south or west, Nobu Ibiza Bay in Talamanca, Destino at Cap Martinet or Six Senses in the north at Cala Xarraca. The programme: a late breakfast, coves, lunch by the water, spa, dinner on a terrace or on the sand. Formats from four hours; a night or 24 hours are on request.

Hotel · 5-star

Six Senses Ibiza

Cala Xarraca, Portinatx, Sant Joan de Labritja

A resort at the northern tip of the island, in the bay of Cala Xarraca. Villas and rooms, a large spa programme, a private beach, a restaurant built on island produce. The complete opposite of the south: quiet, pines, stars and not a club i…

Hotel · 5-star

Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay

Camí Ses Feixes, 52, Talamanca, Eivissa

A hotel in the bay of Talamanca, fifteen minutes from the centre: a private beach, gardens, and the Nobu restaurant with its Japanese kitchen. A quiet alternative to Playa d'en Bossa that keeps you close to the town and the marina.

Hotel · 5-star

Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort

Carrer Cap Martinet, Talamanca, Jesús

The Pacha group's resort on the Cap Martinet headland above Talamanca, looking across to Dalt Vila and Formentera. Daytime sets by the pool, restaurants, private villas on the grounds. The format is club culture without the nightclub.

Tip: a villa needs exact coordinates and a contact who meets her — addresses on the island often have no house numbers and satnav does not find them.

Opening and closing the season

Two weeks in May and two in October, when the island works at its limit. The opening parties on the last weekend of May draw the industry — DJs, promoters, labels. The closing parties in the first half of October are the farewell run, after which the venues shut until the following May. Ushuaïa with its daytime stage, DC-10 with its informal programme, Eden in Sant Antoni — three different characters in one weekend.

Hotel · 5-star

Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel

Platja d'en Bossa, 10, Sant Jordi de ses Salines

A hotel and an open-air club venue at one address: the stage stands by the pool, the programme runs through the day and into the evening, and as the sun drops the place goes full tilt. Residencies from the biggest international DJs are sche…

Place

DC-10

Carretera de Ses Salines, km 1, Sant Jordi de ses Salines

A techno venue beside the airport's approach path, famous for its Monday daytime programme. The most informal club on the island: concrete, an open yard, no ceremony whatsoever. The crowd comes for the music, not for the tables.

Place

Eden Ibiza

Carrer Salvador Espriu, Sant Antoni de Portmany

The main club of Sant Antoni, on the opposite side of the island from Playa d'en Bossa. A younger and less formal crowd, a strong sound system, a programme weighted towards dance electronica. The Sunset Strip promenade is next door.

Tip: these are the busiest dates of the year after August. Fix the model a month ahead: free windows on the opening and closing weekends are the scarcest there are.
