The pace of the city

Tyumen is Russia's oil-and-gas capital, and that defines everything. Headquarters and service divisions of Sibur, Gazprom Neft, Surgutneftegaz, RN-UfaNIPIneft, TNK-BP in the city's local memory. Most of our client base here are top managers of these companies and contractors coming into town on a rotation, for a board, or for the TNF.

Planning here is measured. In Moscow half the requests come in for the same evening; in Tyumen — for the next two or three days, against a specific event, a partner's flight in, a deal closing. Same-day at nine in the evening happens too, especially during forum days, but it isn't the norm.

The time zone — GMT+5, two hours ahead of Moscow. Guests from the capital should factor that in: "seven in our office" is already nine in Tyumen, dinner time. Peak hours run late, 21:00-02:00, longer than in most of our Russian cities: dinners here start later, late-night formats are a regular story.

The season

September — TNF, the Tyumen Oil & Gas Forum. The principal event of the city's year and one of our two peak weeks: bookings a month ahead, hotels filled to capacity, restaurants in the centre on a wait list. August — City Day, a lighter format but dense. June — Sabantuy, the region's cultural event.

A separate seasonality — the thermal one. From November through March Tyumen becomes a draw for guests from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Surgut, Noyabrsk: the thermal springs at Verkhny Bor, Sosnovy Bor, AvanPost, Yar, Istochnik run year-round, but the winter trip to the springs is a scenario in its own right. We hold a separate pool of models for it, used to the "Friday evening — Sunday dinner" format with bathing and spa.

Agro-industrial forums — March, October. Tyumen Region is a major agricultural region, and these dates bring a steady flow of clients from agribusiness.

Where we work

Central Tyumen — Tsvetnoy Boulevard, Respubliki Street, Ordzhonikidze, the Tura River embankment (the famous four-tier one, the only one of its kind in Russia), Lenina, the historic quarter near the Znamensky Cathedral. Here sit DoubleTree Hilton, Mercure, Grand Hotel Tyumen, Remezov, Park Inn by Radisson, Quality Hotel, the historic hotels Tura and Vostok.

Velizhansky Tract outside the city — our second zone. Verkhny Bor Resort, Sosnovy Bor Resort, AvanPost park-hotel — thermal resorts 10-25 km from the centre. We go out there in a weekend or day-trip format, always with a transfer.

The student and cultural belt — the area around TyumGU (Tyumen State University, campuses on Respubliki and Semakova), the Technopark. Guests of the university and of academic conferences are a separate, more reserved client segment.

Etiquette and dress code

The Tyumen public is practical, businesslike, without the showiness of the capitals. At DoubleTree Hilton and Mercure the format is international evening, no surprises. At Grand Hotel Tyumen and Remezov — business evening with an emphasis on restraint: a lot of oil-and-gas executives here, and a loud guest stands out the wrong way.

For thermal resorts — a separate wardrobe: the model arrives with a change of clothes for the spa and bathing zone, and an evening outfit for dinner at the resort restaurant. Agreed before departure.

In winter Tyumen is cold — down to -30°C in January. Quality outerwear on the model is a non-negotiable, footwear by the weather. Transfer between all points — without discussion.

Things we say plainly

Tyumen is a compact city in the premium segment, and that affects the choice. Our local base is several dozen models; on TNF peak days the free count for an evening can be 4-6. For major forums we bring Moscow and Petersburg models in with travel and accommodation paid — that's the norm, agreed a week or two ahead.

Average bill in Tyumen runs from 120,000 ₽ for two hours to 650,000 ₽ for two days. Media-tier models — from 350,000 ₽ for two hours, access opens to returning clients. Payment — cash, bank transfer, crypto by agreement.

Requests under two hours — we don't take: with Tyumen's rhythm and logistics it's especially pointless. Sharing a model's photos with third parties is forbidden. Twelve years in the industry built themselves on simple agreements, and Tyumen is no exception.
