Dinner in Bangkok

Dinner is the most frequent scenario. 2-4 hours: meeting at the restaurant or in the hotel lobby, dinner, sometimes a continuation at a bar. At Le Normandie or Mezzaluna it's a ceremony — three hours minimum. At Bo.lan — lighter, less formal. We book the table ourselves: we hold maître d' contacts at the keystone venues.

Traditional Thai

A restaurant focused on traditional Thai recipes and seasonal produce. A more relaxed atmosphere than Sorn, but the kitchen is honest at level. A good list of Thai infusions and cocktails. On Sukhumvit — easy to get to.

Tip: for Friday-Saturday in high season — Sorn and Mezzaluna 3-4 weeks ahead, Le Normandie and Gaggan 2-3 weeks; in low season a few days is realistic
