Frequently asked questions — Berlin
Real questions from APEX clients in Berlin: matching, booking, hotels, travel, dress code.
How quickly can a model be matched for tonight in Berlin?
On average 30 to 90 minutes. At peak (Thursday to Saturday from 20:00) — closer to 90. On a weekday afternoon — 20 to 40 minutes. If the scenario has a specific venue and dress code (Tim Raue, Hotel de Rome, a Berlinale premiere) — add 20 to 30 minutes for coordination.
Can I book for Friday two hours before the meeting?
Yes, that's a working format. But the choice is narrower than a week out — the most-requested models are already in play. If you want a specific one — write at least two or three days ahead. If a good fit for the scenario is enough — we'll find one inside an hour.
Which hotels does the model enter without questions at reception?
Adlon Kempinski, Ritz-Carlton, Hotel de Rome, Regent, Waldorf Astoria, Das Stue — the "client's guest" format goes through smoothly when everything is done correctly. At Soho House it's a separate story — your membership and prior coordination are needed. At apart-hotels and bourgeois boutique hotels they sometimes ask for an ID — the model is ready for that.
Do you work after 3 a.m.?
Yes, 24/7. Night hours in Berlin are normal working time, especially Friday and Saturday. The manager replies, models travel. Morning meetings (before 11:00) are also possible, just less frequent.
What about Berlinale — is booking realistic during the festival days?
Realistic, but two to four weeks ahead. In the festival days themselves (roughly 8-18 February) demand on premium slots starts running from October-November. If you're only beginning to plan in January — take models "for tonight" from what's available, not for a specific premiere date. For after-parties we have a dedicated pool that understands the industry.
Do you accompany at Berghain?
No, and it's a matter of principle. Berghain selects hard at the door, obvious "client + escort" pairs don't get through, the attempt turns into a public refusal. If the Berlin techno scene matters — we'll suggest Sisyphos, Salon zur Wilden Renate, Watergate, Kater Blau on the right night, About Blank. We get into those calmly.
What about languages — are there Russian-speaking models?
Yes. In Berlin we have a strong Russian-German pool — models speak Russian, German and English fluently. French, Italian, Spanish — selectively, with particular models. Arabic — there's demand, there are options. Specify the language and the level (small talk vs. business) — we'll match.
What payment methods are available in Berlin?
Cash USD or EUR (at the APEX rate on the day of the meeting). Bank transfer — through the manager, with SEPA or international details. Crypto (USDT TRC-20/ERC-20, BTC) — by agreement. Returning clients — post-payment, deposit formats, flexible terms.
Is a deposit required for the first booking?
Usually — a 30-50% deposit a day before the meeting, the balance on meeting. The manager sets the exact terms by scenario and amount. Returning clients work without a deposit.
Can we meet at my flat or a rented villa?
Yes, we call it "client's private location". For a first meeting with a new client we usually suggest one of our proven options (hotel, restaurant). For returning clients — your address is agreed without further questions. The address isn't kept on file; it's passed only to the model for the specific meeting.
What about trips to Potsdam, Wannsee, Müggelsee?
Standard format, usually inside the "weekend" or "day-trip" scenario. Sanssouci and Cecilienhof in Potsdam — a classic daytime programme, dinner in Mitte on return. Wannsee in summer — beach, boats, a restaurant. Agreed two to five days ahead, transfer factored in.
Can you meet me at BER airport?
Yes, an airport meeting is a separate format. The model waits in arrivals with a sign or without one, then transfer to a hotel in Mitte/Charlottenburg, check-in, start of the evening. Agreed at least 24 hours ahead, flight and time required.
Are there models for Fashion Week and industry events?
Yes, a dedicated pool. They know the fashion industry, look the part, hold themselves calmly at shows, presentations, dinners with designers. This is the "industry" category — closer to the standard rate, but it requires separate coordination and is often booked in advance.
How is accompaniment to a Berlinale premiere organised?
Two to four weeks ahead we agree the model, dress code (full-length dress, restrained jewellery), meeting point (usually your hotel lobby). The drive to Berlinale Palast — by transfer. After the premiere — usually dinner at Borchardt or Grill Royal, then by scenario. The premiere ticket is on your side; if you need help with that — the manager has the contacts.
"Weekend" scenario — how is it organised?
From 24 hours to 7 days. The model accompanies you: breakfast together, daytime activities (Potsdam, museums, walks in Tiergarten), evening by agreement. Trips — Potsdam, Wannsee, sometimes Hamburg for a day or Munich. Travel, accommodation, meals — on the client; the model's fee separate.
Which models work the Michelin restaurants Tim Raue and Rutz?
The ones with experience of high-end cooking — they understand the structure of a tasting menu, hold a conversation, don't lose their nerve in front of a sommelier. Not the whole base, but a sufficient part of it. Name the specific venue to the manager — we'll match accordingly.
How do you vet models?
Each profile goes through photo verification (photos current, not older than six months), an in-person meeting with the manager at the Berlin Liaison, and a trial format. We take fewer than one in twenty. We check languages (especially German and English at conversational level), manners, scenario experience, overall standard.
Is confidentiality guaranteed?
We keep only what's needed for the current meeting. After it — addresses and details are wiped from working chats within 72 hours. Client data sits with the manager, access restricted. We follow GDPR practices, deletion on request — within 24 hours. We don't share anything with third parties.
Can I call by phone instead of texting?
Messengers only (Telegram, WhatsApp). It's a deliberate position: all details — in writing for accuracy, end-to-end encrypted messaging is more reliable than ordinary phone lines. For urgent matters messengers respond faster than phone.
What's not part of your format?
Meetings under 2 hours. Accompaniment at Berghain. Mass events without a specific client. Sharing a model's photos with third parties. Scenarios with risk to the model's safety. Haggling after the meeting. We talk all of this through at the coordination stage.
