How to book escort in Cannes: complete guide

A detailed guide for anyone planning a meeting in Cannes: pricing, hotels, scenarios, etiquette, confidentiality. From APEX practice in this city.

What APEX is in Cannes

Cannes is eight working weeks a year that pull in the whole world: MIPIM in March, the Film Festival in May, Cannes Lions in June, the Yachting Festival in September, MIPCOM in October. In those weeks the Croisette turns into an open-air meeting room, rooms at the Carlton, Martinez and Majestic go at triple rate and are booked months out, and a companion is needed not for leisure — for a corporate reception, a dinner with partners, a party on board at Port Canto. APEX works here on the same logic: a companion matched to a specific evening and a specific room. The manager replies on Telegram within three minutes, the model is matched in thirty to one hundred and twenty. From €1,500 for two hours.

The pace of the city

Cannes is a town of seventy-four thousand people that spends eight to ten weeks a year working as an international business centre and the rest of the year living the quiet resort life of the Côte d'Azur. The Palais des Festivals at 1 Boulevard de la Croisette hosts several dozen congresses and trade shows a year, and it is that calendar — not the weather, not the weekend — that sets our load.

Clients fly into Cannes to work. The typical run: land in Nice on Tuesday morning, three days of stands, panels and fifteen-minute meetings, then a partner's reception at a Croisette hotel in the evening, dinner with the delegation, an afterparty at Bâoli, and a flight home on Friday. The request reaches the manager from a hotel room between two meetings: "dinner for four at La Môme tomorrow, need a companion, business dress code." No long preamble, no romance — a technical brief.

Hence our peaks. In an ordinary week the load sits where it sits all along the coast: Friday and Saturday, evening, dinner and a walk along the seafront. In a MIPIM or MIPCOM week the peak shifts to Tuesday-Thursday — by Friday the business crowd is already leaving, and on Monday it hasn't arrived yet. Peak hours run 19:00 to 03:00.

The gap between an "ordinary" and an "event" week is wider in Cannes than in any other city in our network. In February a table at Astoux et Brun takes an hour to arrange; in May, two weeks. In February a model is matched in thirty to forty minutes; for the same dates during the May festival the diary fills a month ahead. We say this upfront, so that neither the client nor the model is caught out.

The trade-show calendar

MIPIM — the world's largest commercial property exhibition, March, at the Palais des Festivals. In 2026 it runs 9 to 13 March: over twenty thousand professionals from more than ninety countries, around two and a half thousand exhibitors. The most business-heavy week of the Cannes year: developers, funds, banks, city administrations. Receptions run in parallel across a dozen hotels, and the bigger players charter yachts in the Vieux Port for meetings. Companion requests here are for exactly that — the evening receptions and the dinners with partners.

The Cannes Film Festival — the second half of May, twelve days. In 2026 the 79th edition ran from 12 to 23 May. The town is closed off with barriers and accreditation, the Croisette stands still, the hotels work at the limit. A separate regime, separate logistics, separate terms — details below.

Cannes Lions — the festival of creativity, June (22 to 26 June in 2026). Advertising holdings, platforms, brands. Softer rhythm than MIPIM, a younger crowd, and the evening programme shifts to the beach clubs and terraces: Bâoli, Zplage at the Martinez, the Majestic beach. Here clients more often take a whole-evening format with moves between three or four venues.

The Cannes Yachting Festival — September (8 to 13 September in 2026), Europe's largest show on the water: around seven hundred boats from five to fifty metres, more than six hundred and eighty exhibitors, two sites — the Vieux Port for motor yachts and Port Canto, where over a hundred sailing yachts are moved. Companion work here means dinners on board, receptions at shipyard stands, a late evening at Bâoli across the road from Port Canto. Further down the calendar: TFWA World Exhibition at the end of September, MIPCOM in October (some twelve thousand delegates), ILTM in early December. From March to December there is barely a month in Cannes without a major congress.

Where we work

Boulevard de la Croisette — the main axis of the town and eighty per cent of our work. Two kilometres and more of seafront lined with the Carlton (no. 58), the Martinez (no. 73), the Majestic (no. 10), the JW Marriott (no. 50), Le Grand Hôtel (no. 45). At the western end, the Palais des Festivals with its red staircase; at the eastern end, Pointe Croisette, Port Canto and Bâoli. Distances are walkable: Palais to Martinez is twenty minutes at an easy pace, Carlton to Majestic seven.

The centre behind the Croisette — Rue d'Antibes, the main shopping street, and the streets running parallel to it. Here you find Five Seas on Rue Notre-Dame, the Gray d'Albion on Rue des Serbes, and the restaurants with no sea view but the best cooking for the money: Da Laura on Rue du 24 Août, La Môme on Rue Florian. Packed solid by day in event weeks, calmer than the seafront in the evening.

Vieux Port and Le Suquet. The old harbour is the town's working marina and one of the two Yachting Festival sites. Above it rises Le Suquet: the fortress tower, the Château de la Castre with the Musée des Explorations du Monde, restaurants on Rue Saint-Antoine, the seafood house Astoux et Brun by the quay, the covered Marché Forville two steps away. The format is dinner without ceremony and a walk up to the tower.

Pointe Croisette and Port Canto — the eastern tip: the town's second marina, Palm Beach, Bâoli. This is where people move when the evening starts on the water and ends in a club. Ten minutes from the Martinez by taxi, fifteen on foot.

Îles de Lérins — two islands half an hour off the shore. On Sainte-Marguerite: the fort with the cell of the Man in the Iron Mask, the Musée de la Mer, and La Guérite, which you can only reach by water. On Saint-Honorat: a working abbey and the monks' vineyards. A daytime format — the boat from Quai Laubeuf, lunch, pine woods, back by evening.

Trips out of town. Nice is thirty minutes on the A8, and Nice airport (NCE) twenty-seven kilometres. Antibes and Juan-les-Pins are twenty minutes, Mougins with its restaurants in the hills fifteen, Grasse thirty-five, Monaco about an hour, Saint-Tropez an hour and a half to two by road and faster by sea. Every trip outside Cannes is agreed in advance, a day's notice minimum, with terms set by the manager.

Etiquette and dress code

Cannes is a business town with a resort façade, and the dress code here works by time of day rather than by venue. During the day in a trade-show week the Croisette is all badges and light business wear: jacket without a tie, sheath dress, nothing evening. From 19:30 the switch is abrupt — the seafront restaurants move to cocktail.

La Palme d'Or at the Martinez (73 Boulevard de la Croisette, a Michelin star, Jean Imbert's kitchen) is the most formal dining address in town: jacket for the guest, long or cocktail dress for the companion, minimal jewellery, natural make-up. Le Park 45 at Le Grand Hôtel — the same level of polish, but the room sits deep inside its own park. Fouquet's at the Majestic is a business brasserie with a cinema history, jacket-and-dress territory, and the usual choice when you are bringing a delegation of six or eight. La Môme, Da Laura and Rüya at the Carlton — evening smart casual, you can loosen up. Astoux et Brun by the Vieux Port — no formality at all. Bâoli — dress to impress: dress, heels, nothing sporty, and the door is strict in festival weeks.

The beach clubs on the Croisette (Zplage at the Martinez, the Majestic beach, La Môme Plage, Bâoli Beach) run their own format by day from June to September: a beach dress over a swimsuit, sandals, a hat. For Cannes Lions this is the main daytime venue for business meetings, and you need to look right for that setting rather than for the evening one.

Reception desks on the Croisette have seen everything in a hundred years. Staff at the Carlton, Martinez and Majestic have worked with returning guests for decades and ask no unnecessary questions when the arrival is handled correctly. Correct means a calm arrival with no suitcases, an agreed time, and a guest who either meets you in the lobby or has told the desk.

Straight talk about working in Cannes

Minimum slot — 2 hours. We do not go below that anywhere in the network. But honestly: two hours in Cannes is a short dinner with nowhere to go afterwards. The real shape of a business evening starts at four hours — aperitif in the hotel bar, dinner, a move to a club or a terrace. If the evening is built around a reception with partners, plan for four to six.

Base pricing: from €1,500 for 2 hours, from €2,000 for 4 hours. Media segment — from €3,500 for 2 hours and from €5,000 for 4 hours. A night, twenty-four hours, two days and any trip outside Cannes are agreed with the manager; we do not publish figures for these formats, because they depend too much on the date, the route and the scenario. Settlement — cash (EUR), bank transfer, cryptocurrency.

The weeks of MIPIM, the Film Festival, Cannes Lions, the Yachting Festival and MIPCOM are their own story. Demand on those dates runs several times above normal, fewer models are free, and hotel and transport logistics cost more. Terms for such dates are agreed personally through the manager, as a rule with a deposit and the model fixed in advance. For every other date of the year the standard pricing in this document applies.

What we don't do. We don't send a model to a venue without a personal client — "stand on the booth for a while" is not us. We don't promise entry to closed events on someone else's accreditation: if a badge or an invitation is required, the client provides it. We don't pass models' photos to third parties. We don't haggle after the meeting. These boundaries are identical across all 58 cities in the network, and we state them before, not after.

When to write and how long to wait

The APEX manager in Cannes replies on Telegram within the first three minutes, 24/7. Model matching — 30-90 minutes depending on scenario and load. At peak the choice tightens naturally — best to write 1-2 days ahead. In season (MIPIM (March), Film Festival (May), Cannes Lions (June), Yachting Festival (September), MIPCOM (October)) the premium segment tightens significantly — booking 2-3 weeks ahead is required.

How a meeting is organised — step by step

01. Request on Telegram

You write to the manager on Telegram or WhatsApp: dates, scenario, preferences. The more precise the brief, the more precise the match. "Wednesday of MIPIM, dinner for six at Fouquet's at 20:30, then the bar at the Majestic, business dress code" is a finished brief — matching starts straight away. "I need a companion in Cannes for festival week" is a reason for another five questions: which days exactly, an evening or a daytime programme, a reception or a private dinner, hotel or villa, is there a yacht involved.

The manager replies within three minutes, and the shift runs around the clock. In the weeks of MIPIM, the Film Festival, Cannes Lions, the Yachting Festival and MIPCOM the shift is reinforced — the reply usually lands in the first minute.

02. Selection and agreement

The manager sends 2-4 profiles fitting your scenario. You choose, you clarify the details. This stage fixes the place and time of the meeting, the duration, the model's dress code for the specific venue, the payment method, the transfer and any special conditions for the evening.

In ordinary weeks selection and agreement take 30-60 minutes. In major trade-show weeks — up to two hours, and for peak dates it is more honest to talk about planning two to four weeks ahead than about minutes. If the chosen model is busy, the manager offers a close alternative straight away — no pauses, no "we'll get back to you".

03. Coordination

After confirmation the manager carries everything through to the meeting. The model receives the address, the time and a dress-code briefing for the specific venue: La Palme d'Or and Bâoli are two different evenings and two different looks.

The transfer is agreed separately. Nice to Cannes is thirty minutes by car on the A8 on a normal day; by helicopter about seven, landing at the Quai du Large pad in the Vieux Port or at Cannes-Mandelieu airport. For a meeting on board — arrival at the quay in the Vieux Port or Port Canto at the time agreed with the crew. Payment — cash in euros, bank transfer, cryptocurrency (USDT TRC-20 / ERC-20, BTC); for returning clients, post-payment is possible.

04. The meeting

The model arrives at the agreed time, usually 10-15 minutes early — waiting in the hotel lobby, at the restaurant entrance or on the quay. She boards a yacht by the crew's invitation. If the evening opens with a reception, the model comes to the meeting point rather than to the event itself: entry is the client's side.

Afterwards the model leaves on her own, or by transfer if that was agreed. A short note back to the manager isn't required, but we're glad of it: what worked, what we'd adjust. It speeds up the next match by a wide margin, especially if you come to Cannes for every MIPIM.

Where meetings happen

The premium segment in Cannes runs through a handful of five-star hotels we've worked with for years. No questions at reception, when the visit is organised correctly.

Restaurants for dinner — our standard 3-4 hour meeting format.

Meeting scenarios

We hold each scenario separately: the model is matched to the format, not the other way around.

MIPIM week

March, five days, more than twenty thousand property professionals from over ninety countries. By day, stands and panels at the Palais des Festivals; in the evening, parallel receptions at the Croisette hotels and on chartered yachts in the Vieux Port. Companion work here is exactly the evening part: a partner's reception, dinner with the delegation, a late bar. The usual format is 4-6 hours, business dress code with an evening shift, and the companion reads as part of your party.

Tip: book a month ahead; stay at the Majestic or Five Seas — the Palais is walkable, and in those days a taxi along the Croisette takes longer than your own legs

Cannes Film Festival

Twelve days in the second half of May. The town is closed off with barriers and accreditation, the Croisette stands still, and the hotels run at the limit on triple rates booked back in winter. The real companion scenario in those days is not the red staircase but the evening programme around it: dinner at La Palme d'Or or at the Carlton, receptions on the terraces of the Martinez and the Majestic, a night at Bâoli. Entry to closed evenings and to the montée des marches is provided by the client with their own accreditation.

Tip: plan a month out or more; terms for festival dates are agreed personally, with a deposit and the model fixed in advance

Cannes Lions

Five days in the third week of June. The crowd is younger and looser than at MIPIM: advertising holdings, platforms, brands. The key difference is that the programme leans heavily on daytime beach venues and terraces — Zplage at the Martinez, the Majestic beach, Bâoli Beach. An evening usually runs in three or four moves, so clients here take a long slot rather than a dinner.

Tip: plan two looks for the day, daytime beach and evening; we brief the model on the dress code in advance, because these are two different evenings

Cannes Yachting Festival

Six days in September, around seven hundred boats and more than six hundred and eighty exhibitors across two sites — the Vieux Port and Port Canto. The audience: owners, brokers, shipyards, designers. The companion format is dinners on board at the owner's invitation, receptions at shipyard stands, a late evening at Bâoli across the road from Port Canto. A run out on the water or lunch on the islands often gets added during the day.

Tip: book two to three weeks ahead; for a meeting on board we agree the vessel's name and the captain's name in advance

Business dinner with partners

The most frequent Cannes scenario outside the peak weeks. A table of four to eight, the companion as part of your party: holds the conversation, knows when to join in and when to step back, doesn't pull focus. Le Park 45 in the park of Le Grand Hôtel — when you need conversation without extra ears. Fouquet's at the Majestic — when you need the shop window. Da Laura — when the evening should look informal. Format 3-4 hours, often with a move to the hotel bar.

Tip: in your first message give the make-up of the table and the level of formality — that is what actually drives the match

An evening on the Croisette

The classic evening with no business reason behind it. Aperitif at the Carlton bar or on the Martinez terrace, dinner at La Palme d'Or or La Môme, a walk along the seafront from the Palais to Port Canto, then whatever the mood suggests — a rooftop or the club at Bâoli. Format 4-6 hours, and the easiest of all on logistics: everything is walkable along one street.

Tip: in July and August book dinner a week ahead, in event weeks two to three; in February and March the table is yours the same day

A day on the Lérins Islands

A daytime scenario for the warm season. The boat from Quai Laubeuf or a private tender, then the island of Sainte-Marguerite: the fort with the cell of the Man in the Iron Mask, the Musée de la Mer, pine woods and the path along the water. Lunch at La Guérite, which you can only reach by water, stretches over several hours and turns into music by five. Back by evening, dinner in town.

Tip: the whole format runs 6-8 hours, with duration and terms by agreement; Saint-Honorat has a working abbey and the monks' vineyards — you go there for the quiet, not for the lunch

Pricing and formats

Pricing in Cannes: €1500–€5000. Standard tier and media segment. Payment — cash, bank transfer, crypto by agreement.

Etiquette and dress code

Each venue in Cannes holds its own code: central five-star hotels — cocktail or evening attire, premium restaurants — business or evening, cultural events — full-length dress and heel. We don't have to brief this with the client — the model knows.

Confidentiality

Communication only through end-to-end encrypted messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp). Client data held in limited scope, after the meeting — wiped from working chats within 72 hours. Private addresses don't enter our database. GDPR compliance, deletion on request — within 24 hours.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly is a model matched in Cannes in an ordinary week?

30-60 minutes for selection and agreement. For tonight on a weekday out of season — 30-40 minutes. For Friday or Saturday with a day's notice — 60-90 minutes. For a complex scenario with a specific restaurant, a dress code and a move to a second venue — up to two hours.

And during MIPIM, the Film Festival or MIPCOM?

Different arithmetic. For these dates we recommend planning two to four weeks ahead, and a month for the Film Festival and MIPIM. We still take "for tomorrow" requests in those weeks, but we warn you honestly: the choice will be narrow. Terms for peak dates are agreed personally, usually with a deposit.

How much does a companion cost in Cannes?

From €1,500 for 2 hours and from €2,000 for 4 hours in the standard segment. Media segment — from €3,500 for 2 hours and from €5,000 for 4 hours. A night, twenty-four hours, two days and trips outside Cannes are agreed with the manager. Separate terms apply in the major trade-show weeks.

Which hotels do you work with?

The core circle is Carlton Cannes (58 Boulevard de la Croisette), Hôtel Martinez (73), Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic (10), JW Marriott Cannes (50), Le Grand Hôtel (45). Behind the Croisette — Five Seas on Rue Notre-Dame and Hôtel Barrière Le Gray d'Albion on Rue des Serbes. We also work with smaller addresses in the centre and up in the hills of Le Cannet, if that is where you are staying.

Can I invite a companion to a business dinner with partners?

Yes, and it is the most frequent scenario in Cannes. A table of four to eight at Fouquet's, La Môme, Da Laura or Le Park 45, with the companion as part of your party rather than the centre of the table's attention. When you write, say who is at the table, what the evening is about and how formal it is — we'll match a model who holds a conversation and doesn't pull focus.
