Frequently asked questions — Vienna
Real questions from APEX clients in Vienna: matching, booking, hotels, travel, dress code.
How quickly can a model be matched in Vienna for tonight?
On average 30 to 90 minutes. Weekday afternoon — closer to half an hour. Friday-Saturday evening — closer to 90 minutes. If the scenario is opera, ball, or a two-star Michelin dinner with a dress code — add 30 to 60 minutes for preparation and gown agreement.
Can I book for the Opernball with a week's notice?
Technically — we'll try. Realistically — no. The premium segment for the Opernball gets booked out from October-November, and a week ahead the only options left are usually "by cancellation" from neighbouring European bases. If you're planning the Opernball — write in December, ideally November.
Which hotels does the model enter without questions at reception?
At Hotel Sacher, Imperial, Bristol, Park Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood — yes, in a "client's guest" format no questions arise at reception, provided everything is done correctly: a cocktail or evening look, an agreed visit time, no luggage. At lesser hotels they may ask for an ID — the model is ready, the passport is always with her.
Do you work after midnight?
Yes, 24/7. The Vienna peak runs to one in the morning, but real meetings continue into the morning. The manager is on through the night, models travel. Morning meetings (before 10:00) are rarer but possible, especially after a late-night event.
What's the dress code at the Wiener Staatsoper?
Smart elegant in the evening — jacket compulsory for the gentleman, dress or elegant suit for the lady. Stalls and boxes are stricter than the gallery. Premieres — full-length gown and dark suit. Jeans, trainers, sportswear — refused. Our models for the opera are picked with this in mind, always.
What does the Opernball require — beyond money?
Black tailcoat (white tie) compulsory — in a tuxedo you won't be admitted, security will turn you back. Full-length evening gown for the model compulsory; white elbow-length gloves compulsory. Ticket from 350 euros for entry only (standing in the gallery), a box from 21,000 euros. The minimum decent budget for the evening with companionship — 8,000 to 15,000 euros for the event itself, before model and gown.
What languages do the Vienna models speak?
English — most. German (including Austrian Hochdeutsch) — a meaningful share of the base; that's the Vienna specific. Russian — a portion of the models. French, Italian, Arabic — selectively. For an Arabic-speaking client from the Gulf — we match for Arabic with etiquette in mind; that's a separate segment of our base.
Can I bring a model to a closed diplomatic dinner?
We can accompany a private client at a dinner or reception with diplomatic context — guests from OPEC, IAEA, OSCE. The model in strict dress code, speaking the relevant language, understanding the protocol of small talk (neutral subjects, no politics, no personal questions). We don't work formats requiring official accompaniment status — that's outside our zone.
Trip to the Wachau — how is it organised?
From 24 hours. A car with driver (or yours), the route through the wine villages Dürnstein – Spitz – Krems, tastings, dinner with a Danube view, an overnight at one of the boutique hotels (Schloss Dürnstein, Landhaus Bacher). Agreement — 3 to 5 days ahead, especially during the harvest (September-October). All travel, tasting and accommodation costs — on the client; the model's fee separate.
Salzburg for the weekend — feasible?
Yes. Railjet train — 2:20, drive — about 3 hours. Format from 24 to 72 hours. The Salzburg Festival (July-August) is a separate season — pricing and selection in this period are as specific as the Vienna Opernball: everything goes months in advance. Outside the festival — standard agreement, 3 to 5 days.
What payment methods are available?
Cash — euros or USD. Bank transfer — to a European account through the manager. Crypto (USDT TRC-20 / ERC-20, BTC) — by agreement. Returning clients — deposit arrangements, post-payment, individual terms. Cards we don't accept.
Is a deposit required for the first booking?
In most cases — a 30-50% deposit a day before the meeting, the balance on meeting. For the ball season and scenarios with long preparation (stylist, made-to-order gown) — a higher deposit, up to 70%. For returning clients a deposit usually isn't required.
What if the model doesn't match expectations?
Discussed immediately, not after the fact. If on meeting you see something is off — write to the manager that same hour. Refund of part of the fee, replacement, scenario adjustment — depending on the cause. Our statistic — cases like this run under 2% and almost always trace to incomplete brief at the coordination stage.
Can we go on a yacht or a Danube cruise?
Yes. DDSG Blue Danube and private yachts — summer season May to September. Format 4 to 6 hours with a light dinner on board, or a daytime cruise to the Wachau and back. Agreement 5 to 10 days ahead; reservation of the boat and coordination with the event organiser is required if it's a corporate cruise.
Do you work with couples?
Yes, there's a separate category of models for couples. Agreement is slightly longer — the format details, expectations and roles matter. Across our Vienna practice — around 5-7% of meetings.
Can we meet at my flat or my apartment?
Yes. "Client's private location". For a first meeting with a new client we usually suggest a proven central hotel — it's safer for both sides. For returning clients — your address is agreed without further discussion. The address isn't kept on file; it's passed only to the model for the specific meeting.
Do you have media-tier models in Vienna?
Yes, a separate pool and a separate price — from $3,500 for 2 hours, $5,000 for 4 hours. Access opens to returning clients after several successful collaborations. We don't put new clients into this category for first contact — it's a question of trust and proven track record.
How are models vetted?
Each profile passes a photo verification (photos no older than six months), an in-person meeting with the manager in Vienna, a trial format (a short dinner, an assessment of manners and language). We take fewer than one in thirty into the Vienna premium segment. We check education, languages, conversational ability, experience in the relevant scenarios (opera, balls, Michelin), knowledge of etiquette.
Is confidentiality guaranteed?
Yes. Communication only through messengers with end-to-end encryption. Addresses, details and photos are wiped from working chats within 72 hours of the meeting. Client data — name, contact, payment details — held with the manager, access restricted. Not shared with third parties; we follow GDPR (Austria is in the EU, the requirements are strict); deletion on request — within 24 hours.
How do I cancel or reschedule a meeting?
Free of charge — minimum 12 hours ahead. Later — a compensation share (usually 30%, if the model is already en route). On the day of the meeting, an hour before — half-slot payment. Rescheduling with the same model — if her time is free, no penalty. For the ball season the cancellation terms are stricter, because preparation takes days.
