Frequently asked questions — Hong Kong
Real questions from APEX clients in Hong Kong: matching, booking, hotels, travel, dress code.
How quickly can a model be matched for tonight?
On average 30 to 90 minutes. At peak (Thursday to Saturday from 21:00, plus Hong Kong Sevens and Art Basel in March) — closer to 90. On a weekday afternoon — 30 to 40. If the scenario is complex (specific dress code for a specific venue, a particular language, travel across the harbour) — add 20 to 30.
Can I book for Friday evening with two hours' notice?
Yes. It's one of our common scenarios in Hong Kong. But the choice in that moment is narrower than a week ahead — the most-requested models are already in play. If you want a specific one, write earlier; minimum a day ahead.
Which hotels does the model enter without questions at reception?
At most five-star hotels in Hong Kong — The Peninsula Hong Kong, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons Hong Kong, The Ritz-Carlton (ICC), Rosewood Hong Kong, The Upper House, Conrad, Island Shangri-La, Grand Hyatt, The Langham (TST), The Murray, W Hong Kong — in a "client's guest" format no questions arise, provided everything is done correctly. At hotel apartments and serviced residences they may ask for an ID — the model is ready for that. For your specific hotel it's better to ask the manager — he knows the specifics of each.
Do you work after 3 a.m.?
Yes, 24/7. Night hours are an ordinary working slot in Hong Kong, especially Friday and Saturday in LKF and SoHo, after the clubs in Central. The manager replies, models travel. Morning meetings (before 10:00) happen less often — but they're possible, especially for business breakfasts in IFC.
Travel between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon — how does the logistics work?
Standard. Taxi through the Cross-Harbour Tunnel — 7 to 15 minutes depending on traffic, Star Ferry — 10 minutes. We factor transfer time into the slot calculation so the model arrives on time. For a meeting in TST from Central — we allow 20 to 25 minutes with margin. For a meeting at ICC (West Kowloon) — 15 to 20 minutes from Central.
What about dress code in Central and IFC?
Business suit, minimum jewellery, restrained makeup. For the business segment we keep a separate pool of models who work specifically in this format — they understand the Hong Kong specifics, don't stand out from the corporate audience at Cheung Kong Center, Two IFC, Pacific Place, and know meeting etiquette with both Asian and Western counterparts.
Can I request a particular model again?
Yes, that's standard practice. If the model has the requested slot free — we book her. Returning clients often work with one or two models; that's normal. If the slot is taken — we'll suggest a comparable alternative.
Are there models with Mandarin or Cantonese?
Yes. Mandarin — across part of our Hong Kong base. Cantonese — selectively, with models with a local background. English — for most, at a strong level. Russian — a separate category of models who work with Russian-speaking clients in the city. French, Japanese — with particular models, on request.
What payment methods are available?
Cash USD or HKD — everywhere. Bank transfer — through the manager, with the details. Crypto (USDT TRC-20 / ERC-20, BTC) — by agreement, with the rate fixed at the moment of agreement. Returning clients — post-payment, deposit arrangements, flexible terms.
Is a deposit required for the first booking?
In most cases — a 30-50% deposit a day before the meeting, the balance on meeting. Exact terms are set by the manager depending on the scenario and the amount. For returning clients a deposit usually isn't required.
What if the model doesn't match expectations?
Discussed immediately, not after the fact. If on meeting it's clear the model arrived in different attire or the format isn't what was agreed — write to the manager that same hour. Depending on the cause: refund of part of the fee, replacement, scenario adjustment. Our statistic — cases like this run under 2% and usually trace back to incomplete brief at the coordination stage.
Can we meet at my flat at The Peak or on a yacht in Aberdeen?
Yes. We call it "client's private location". For a first meeting with a new client we more often suggest one of our proven options (hotel, restaurant). For returning clients — your address is agreed without further discussion. In any case — the address isn't kept on file; it's passed only to the model for the specific meeting.
Can I book a model in Macau or Singapore?
Yes. Macau (45 minutes by ferry or by plane) — a frequent weekend scenario, inside a "trip" format. Singapore, Bali, Shanghai, Tokyo — agreed a week or two ahead, requires a current passport and visas for the model. All travel and accommodation costs — on the client; the model's fee separate. We have 48 cities in the network — across most Asian destinations there are local models, and we can put them on the booking instead of moving someone out from Hong Kong.
"Weekend" or "trip" scenario — how is it organised?
From 24 hours to 7 days. Inside the region — Macau (45 minutes by ferry or by plane), Lantau Island (Discovery Bay villas), Sai Kung. To other cities — Singapore, Bali, Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul. The model accompanies you throughout: breakfast together, daytime activities (Victoria Peak, harbour cruise, Sai Kung), evening — by agreement. All travel, accommodation and meals — on the client; the model's fee agreed before departure.
Do you have media-tier models?
Yes, a separate category with separate pricing. Two hours from $3,000, four hours from $4,500, the rest by agreement. Access to this pool opens after several successful collaborations and becoming a returning client. We don't put new clients into the media category for first contact.
How are models vetted?
Each profile goes through three stages: photo verification (so the photos are current, not old), in-person meeting with a manager, trial format (a short meeting, level assessment). We take fewer than one in twenty. We check education, languages (English, Mandarin, Russian — required for the Hong Kong base), ability to hold a conversation in international business settings, manners, scenario experience.
Which models work Hong Kong Sevens and Art Basel?
A separate part of the base — models with experience of international events. They know how to hold their own across a varied international audience, speak strong English, follow contemporary art at an informed-amateur level for Art Basel, understand rugby etiquette for the Sevens. Booked 2 to 4 weeks ahead in high season; in March — 1 to 2 months.
Is confidentiality guaranteed?
We keep only what's needed for the current meeting. After the meeting — addresses, details, photos are wiped from working chats within 72 hours. Client data — name, phone, payment details — held only with the manager, access restricted. Not shared with third parties. We follow GDPR practices; deletion on request — within 24 hours.
Can I call by phone instead of texting?
Communication only through messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal). It's not a reluctance to talk — it's a deliberate position. All meeting details should be in writing for accuracy, and end-to-end encrypted messaging is more reliable than ordinary phone lines. For urgent matters messengers respond faster than phone.
What's not part of your format?
Meetings under two hours. Mass events without a specific personal client (hostess functions at a large event — only with a personal format for you). Sharing a model's photos with third parties. Scenarios with risk to the model's safety. Haggling after the meeting. We talk all of this through at the coordination stage so there are no surprises.
