The rhythm of the island

Ibiza lives by the season, not by the working week. From late May to early October the island runs around the clock: the clubs open their residencies, IBZ airport moves into the busiest in Europe for private aviation, and villas in the south and west go out in week-long blocks. From November to April the picture inverts — clubs shut, half the beach restaurants close, the population falls back to the people who actually live here. We say this plainly: we will take a request for "Ibiza in February", but the programme people fly here for does not exist on the island in winter.

The shifted timetable is the second thing not everyone is ready for. The day starts late, lunch at a beach club runs from three in the afternoon, dinner is set for 22:00, you leave for the club around one in the morning and come home at six. Because of that, "two hours" barely exists here as a format: an evening in Ibiza is physically longer than in Milan or Moscow. The real in-season slot is four hours and up, more often a night or a full day.

The client is different too. This is not a business trip with a window between meetings — it is a holiday planned months ahead: a villa taken in Cala Jondal or Sant Josep, a yacht chartered for the week, tickets bought in advance for a specific residency at Hï. Requests arrive in batches — not "for tonight" but "we're on the island from the 12th to the 19th of August, we need someone for four evenings out of seven". We like requests like that: they can be assembled calmly and precisely.

Peak load falls on Thursday to Sunday, but in July and August the difference between the days of the week almost disappears — the residencies are scheduled across all seven. Two stretches stand apart: opening parties on the last weekend of May and closing parties in the first half of October. Those are the two weeks when the island is fullest and our models have the fewest free dates.

The season: May to October

May is the opening. The weather is still unsettled and the water cold, but the clubs launch their opening parties and the industry lands on the island: DJs, promoters, label managers, press. Accommodation costs less than in August, the queues are shorter, the mood is more insider. A good month for a first trip if the point is clubs rather than beach.

June is a full season without the August crush. Every beach club is working, the water has warmed up, the evenings are mild. We rate June the best month for the balance of programme against calm: agreement takes 30-120 minutes, the choice is wide, and booking a month ahead is not necessary.

July and August are the peak. The island is full, the roads into Playa d'en Bossa are jammed, club tables go weeks in advance, the Formentera ferry runs packed. For these two months we ask you to plan ahead: August dates are best fixed in June, and specific residencies earlier still. We will take a request for "tomorrow" in August, but we will say honestly that the choice will be narrow.

September is the second-best month after June. The water is the warmest it gets all year, the crowd thins out, and the clubs are still running full line-ups. Plenty of our returning clients deliberately move their trip from August to September.

October is the closing. The first two weeks are closing parties, a surge of demand in their own right; after them the island switches off within days. By the end of October the beach clubs are shut and the night programme is over.

From November to April we work on individual requests: quiet villas in the north, restaurants in Dalt Vila, drives around the island. It is a completely different format — no clubs and no beaches — and we always talk it through before booking.

Where we work

Playa d'en Bossa is the main hub of the night programme. One stretch of seafront holds Ushuaïa, Hï Ibiza, the Hard Rock Hotel with the Sublimotion restaurant, and Zela on the shoreline. Most clients who came specifically for the clubs stay here: hotel to club door on foot, which matters when the programme finishes at six in the morning.

Eivissa (Ibiza Town) and Marina Botafoch are the business and restaurant half. Here you have Pacha, the Lío show space on the marina front, the Marina Ibiza and Ibiza Magna berths where the charter yachts sit, and Dalt Vila — the old town inside its fortress walls, on the UNESCO list. It is a convenient base for the "dinner in town, club by one in the morning" format.

Talamanca and Cap Martinet — a calm bay fifteen minutes from the centre. Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay and Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort, quiet dinners, early evenings. Our pick when a client wants the island without the noise of Playa d'en Bossa.

The south and Ses Salines — Cala Jondal with Blue Marlin, the Es Cavallet and Ses Salines beaches with Beso Beach and Experimental Beach on Cap des Falcó, and the Es Torrent restaurant in its hidden cove. By day this is the main working district: a two- or three-hour lunch, sunbeds, water, an early evening.

The west — Cala Bassa, Cala Comte, Cala Tarida, Sant Antoni with the Eden club. People come here for sunsets and daytime formats; Cala Bassa Beach Club is easiest to reach by boat from Sant Antoni harbour.

Santa Eulària and the north-east — S'Argamassa with ME Ibiza and Nikki Beach, the Cala Bonita restaurant on the beach, the Can Domo agroturismo on the road to Cala Llonga. Family, restaurant and daytime formats.

The north — Sant Joan, Portinatx, Cala Xarraca with Six Senses Ibiza. A different Ibiza: pines, hairpin roads, silence. It is about forty-five minutes from the airport, and that has to be built into the planning of the evening.

Formentera is a day of its own. The ferry from Ibiza port takes around thirty minutes, and in summer sailings run every half hour. A Formentera trip is agreed separately, as is any trip beyond the island — on request.

Etiquette and dress code

The dress code in Ibiza is softer than in Monaco or Milan, but it exists, and confusing "informal" with "anything goes" is a mistake here. Beach club by day — a light dress over a swimsuit, sandals or flat shoes, big sunglasses, minimal jewellery: salt, wind and water do not forgive complicated looks. At Blue Marlin and Cala Bassa Beach Club that is the norm; at Nikki Beach in the evening the format tightens slightly.

Dinner is smart casual with a summer lean. Es Torrent and Cala Bonita are beach chic, literally dinner on the sand. Casa Maca on the hill above town — a light long dress. Sublimotion at the Hard Rock Hotel is the one place on the island where the format comes closer to a city evening: it is a gastronomic performance for a limited number of guests, and people dress accordingly. Lío is dinner with a show, and it is where you can go boldest — the only address on the island with a genuine evening code.

The club is its own story. Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa are open-air venues where people dance for six hours straight: a stiletto survives until three in the morning at best. The practical answer is a dress and stable shoes. Pacha is the classic indoor club format, the only one where an evening dress fits. DC-10 is the techno venue by the airport and the most informal point on the island: a brightly dressed guest looks like an outsider there, and we talk that through at the matching stage.

Villas and yachts separately. On a yacht — flat shoes or none at all; that is the crew's rule, not a matter of taste. At a villa the host of the evening sets the format; we always check with the manager whether there will be dinner with other guests or whether it is a closed evening, and we brief the model for the specific situation.

Tan, salt, humidity — a look changes over the course of a day. If the programme runs beach by day and club by night, you need a window of at least an hour and a half between the blocks: change, put yourself back together. We build that into the timing rather than hoping it will fit.

Things we say plainly

The minimum slot is 2 hours, but in Ibiza that is a rare format. Two hours here is not enough for anything: by the time you have driven to Cala Jondal and back, the time is gone. The island's real format is four hours and up, more often a night or a full day.

Base pricing — from €1,500 for 2 hours and €2,000 for 4 hours. Media segment — from €3,500 for 2 hours and from €5,000 for 4 hours. A night, 24 hours, 48 hours and any trip beyond Ibiza, Formentera included, are on request: too much depends on the dates, the programme and the logistics to publish a figure that would turn out to be wrong. Payment — euros in cash, bank transfer, cryptocurrency.

The opening and closing party dates, along with the second half of July and all of August, are a separate conversation about timing, not about price. The pricing is standard; what is scarcer in those weeks is free dates, and we say it straight — a request a day ahead in August is a choice from what is left, not a choice from everything.

We do not take meetings shorter than two hours, we do not work mass events without a personal client, we do not pass models' photos to third parties and we do not haggle after the meeting. That is the same across all 58 cities of the network, Ibiza included.

One more honest thing about the island: distances look small, and in August they are not. The drive from Santa Eulària to Playa d'en Bossa on a Saturday evening takes forty-five minutes, not twenty. We build that in ahead of time and ask clients not to plan dinner at 22:00 and a club at 23:30 — it does not work that way.
