Scenarios and venues in St. Moritz

Meeting formats and venues we work with: five-star hotels in the centre, signature restaurants, theatres, private spaces.

Dinner in St. Moritz Dorf

The most frequent evening request. Da Vittorio at the Carlton — a formal dinner of two and a half to three hours and the resort's leading gastronomic occasion. Chesa Veglia — a house from 1658 with three rooms for three different formats. Matsuhisa at Badrutt's Palace — a lighter option, after which the evening carries on in the same building. Format from 4 hours; a two-hour slot doesn't fit here.

Restaurant

Da Vittorio – St. Moritz

Via Johannes Badrutt 11, 7500 St. Moritz (inside the Carlton Hotel)

The Cerea family's winter residence at the Carlton — high-category Italian cooking with a Michelin reputation that people travel to St. Moritz for on its own. The signature dish is the tomato pasta, finished at the table. Open through the w…

Restaurant

Chesa Veglia

Via Veglia 2, 7500 St. Moritz

A farmhouse from 1658 converted into a restaurant and owned by Badrutt's Palace. Three different rooms for three different formats: the grill closer to a formal dinner, a separate room in Engadin style, and a pizzeria on the top floor with …

Badrutt's Palace Hotel

Via Serlas 27, 7500 St. Moritz

An 1896 hotel whose tower became the silhouette of the town, and the principal address in St. Moritz Dorf. Inside — Le Grand Hall with its fireplace and live music at aperitif hour, the Renaissance Bar, King's Club, and the Japanese restaur…

Hotel · 5-star

Carlton Hotel St. Moritz

Via Johannes Badrutt 11, 7500 St. Moritz

Built in 1913, by the hotel's own history as a summer residence for Nicholas II; today one of the most intimate five-star addresses in the Engadin, suites only, almost all of them facing the lake. Inside is Da Vittorio – St. Moritz, the Cer…

Tip: book the table 1-2 weeks ahead in an ordinary season week and a month ahead for the holiday week; we go through the dress code at the agreement stage, because the grill room at Chesa Veglia and the pizzeria upstairs call for two different sets of clothes

A day on the slopes and lunch at altitude

The daytime format of St. Moritz: up Corviglia by funicular or Corvatsch by cable car, lunch on a terrace with a panorama, the descent closer to sunset. La Marmite at 2,486 metres is the classic, truffle list included; Paradiso above Suvretta is a sunny terrace with a lake view; the panorama restaurant at the Corvatsch top station is 3,303 metres and a full circle of horizon. Skiing isn't required — the venues are all reachable by lift.

La Marmite

Corviglia, 2,486 m — by the top station of the funicular, 7500 St. Moritz

The mountain restaurant on Corviglia, known for its truffle and caviar list at nearly two and a half thousand metres. The classic daytime scenario of St. Moritz: up by funicular, lunch on the terrace, the valley below. Open through the wint…

Corviglia slope above Suvretta House, around 2,180 m, 7500 St. Moritz

A restaurant-club on the sunny side of the slope with a large terrace looking over Lake St. Moritz. By day, lunch and loungers on the snow; towards evening the place shifts into a club format with a DJ. One of the few venues at the resort w…

Nira Alpina

Surlej, 7513 Silvaplana — at the Corvatsch cable car base station

A contemporary hotel at Surlej with a direct link to the Corvatsch base station — effectively ski-in from the building. A panoramic rooftop bar looking out over the Silvaplana and Sils lakes. Lighter in feel than the grand hotels of the Dor…

Tip: allow 4 hours upward, and say in the request whether you want a model who skis — it changes both the match and the scenario; the ski pass, rental and lift tickets are paid by the client

White Turf and Snow Polo weekend

The February races on the frozen lake and the January polo — events people come into the valley for several days at a time. By day, the stands and the receptions on the ice; in the evening, dinner in the Dorf and a continuation at the hotel. Companion service works as a block here: not one evening, but the whole stay.

Tip: plan one to two months ahead — terms for these dates are agreed personally, with a deposit and the model fixed; hotels and restaurants get booked at the same time as the model, otherwise the evening simply won't come together

An evening in the hotel and the club format

The scenario for anyone who doesn't want to step out into the cold. Aperitif in the Renaissance Bar or Le Grand Hall at Badrutt's Palace, dinner in the hotel, then King's Club in the same building — no night transfer required. At the Kulm the alternative is calmer: the Sunny Bar and the park with its ice rink.

Place

Dracula Club

Kulm park, St. Moritz Dorf, 7500 St. Moritz

A members' club founded by Gunter Sachs in 1974, and the least public evening venue in the Engadin. Entry is for members and their guests only. In summer it hosts the main stage of Festival da Jazz.

Tip: King's Club runs through the winter season and holds to a club dress code; entry in high season is arranged in advance through the hotel concierge. Dracula Club is a members' club by invitation — we don't arrange access there

A spa day and the quiet format in St. Moritz Bad

A format without the public eye: the lower part of town on its historic mineral spring, the large spa at the Kempinski, or the enclosed grounds of Suvretta House with their own forest and lift. A slow day — water, lunch, an evening without going up to the Dorf. It works well in the shoulder seasons and for guests who want quiet rather than a shop window.

Hotel · 5-star

Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski St. Moritz

Via Mezdi 27, 7500 St. Moritz

A five-star hotel in St. Moritz Bad, standing on the historic mineral spring the resort began with long before winter tourism. A large spa, a convenient base for skiing Corvatsch, and an audience noticeably less on display than in the Dorf.

Hotel · 5-star

Suvretta House

Via Chasellas 1, 7500 St. Moritz

A 1912 hotel on its own terrace between St. Moritz and Champfèr, with a private lift straight onto the Corviglia slope. About as private as a venue gets here: its own grounds, forest, no passing public. A classic choice for those who come a…

Tip: hotel spas have their own rules for outside visitors — we check access in advance so the day doesn't start with a refusal at reception

Companionship over several days

The main Engadin format: people come here for a week, not for an evening. The programme is built day by day — the slope and lunch at altitude, spa, dinners in the Dorf, a run out to Pontresina or Diavolezza, the panorama train down to Tirano. Terms for a multi-day format are on request, counted together with the logistics and the dates.

Tip: agree it 2-4 weeks ahead, and earlier for the holiday week; the model's travel and accommodation in the valley are paid separately from the fee and are fixed before confirmation

Summer in the Engadin: lake, golf, panoramas

June to September, the quiet half of the year. Lake St. Moritz and the sailing at Silvaplana, golf at Samedan on a course from 1893, the ride up to Muottas Muragl with the chain of lakes below, Nietzsche's house at Sils-Maria, Festival da Jazz in July. The evening is softer than in winter — none of December's formal protocol.

A five-star hotel in St. Moritz Bad, standing on the historic mineral spring the resort began with long before winter tourism. A large spa, a convenient base for skiing Corvatsch, and an audience noticeably less on display than in the Dorf.

Tip: in summer the agreement takes 30-60 minutes and there are noticeably more dates open; in April-May and November the valley goes into its shoulder season and part of the hotel stock is closed — we work selectively and confirm venues in advance
