Real questions from APEX clients in Houston: matching, booking, hotels, travel, dress code, payment, confidentiality.
On average 30 to 120 minutes. In Uptown and Downtown faster — 30 to 60. In Energy Corridor or The Woodlands with the transfer factored in — 90 to 120. In Rodeo week and OTC the choice is narrower; add another 30 minutes for agreement.
Yes, it's a common scenario. But the choice in that moment is narrower than a week ahead — the most-requested models are already in play. If you want a specific one, write at least a day ahead.
The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston, Four Seasons Hotel Houston, The St. Regis Houston, Hotel Granduca, JW Marriott Downtown, Thompson Houston, Hotel Alessandra, The Westin Galleria — in a "client's guest" format no questions arise when coordination is done right. For your specific hotel the manager will detail the specifics.
Yes, 24/7. Night hours on Friday and Saturday are an ordinary working slot. The manager replies, models travel, hotels in Uptown and Downtown run their normal round-the-clock rhythm.
Yes, with transfer factored in. Galveston — 50-60 minutes from Downtown, agreed minimum a day ahead. The Woodlands — 35-50 minutes depending on I-45 traffic. Sugar Land and Katy — 30-40 minutes from Galleria. For short trips we add the drive to the meeting duration.
Business suit or a formal cocktail dress, minimum jewellery. We keep a separate pool of models for the energy sector and the corporate format — they understand the etiquette, don't stand out from the audience, speak business English.
Yes, that's standard practice. If the model has the requested slot free — we book her. Returning clients in Houston often work with one or two models, that's normal. If the slot is taken — we'll suggest a comparable alternative.
English — the whole Houston base, many at native level. Spanish (given the proximity to Latin America) — a sizeable share. Chinese, Arabic, Farsi — selectively, for energy delegations and investors. Specify on request.
Zelle, bank transfer (ACH/Wire), cash USD. By arrangement — USDT (TRC-20/ERC-20), less often BTC. Returning clients — post-payment, monthly retainer, individual terms.
In most cases — a 30-50% deposit a day before the meeting, the balance on meeting. For long formats (24 hours and up) and the media segment — a higher deposit. Returning clients usually don't need a deposit.
Discussed immediately, not after the fact. If on meeting it's clear the attire is off or the format diverges from what was agreed — write to the manager that same hour. Resolutions: refund of part of the fee, replacement, scenario adjustment. Cases like this run under 2% with us and usually trace back to an incomplete brief at the coordination stage.
Yes, we call it "client's private location". For a first meeting with a new client we usually suggest one of our proven options (hotel, restaurant). For returning clients — your address is agreed without further discussion. The address isn't kept on file; it's passed only to the specific model for the specific meeting.
Yes, we have 48 cities. If you need a companion in Dallas, Miami, New York, Los Angeles or internationally — the manager either picks up our model in the destination city or arranges a Houston model to travel with you. The second option — from 24 hours and up.
From 24 hours to 7 days. The model accompanies you: breakfast together, daytime activities, evening by agreement. Trips — Galveston for a weekend, a run to Vegas, a ranch, a sea cruise out of Galveston Port. All travel, accommodation and meals — on the client; the model's fee separate, agreed before departure.
Yes, a separate category with separate pricing. 2 hours — from $3,500, 4 hours — from $5,500, the rest by agreement. Access to the media pool opens after several successful collaborations and becoming a returning client. We don't put new clients into the media category for first contact.
Each profile goes through three stages: photo verification (only real, current photos), in-person meeting with a manager, trial format — a short meeting with a level assessment. We take fewer than one in twenty. We check education, English, manners, experience with specific Houston scenarios (steakhouses, corporate receptions, sporting events, the Rodeo).
A separate part of the base — models with experience of mass events. They know box etiquette, understand the tailgate format; for the Rodeo we have a couple of models with a clear western style (without overdoing it). Booked 5 to 10 days ahead during Rodeo week.
We keep only what's needed for the current meeting. After it — addresses, details, photos are wiped from working chats within 72 hours. Client data — name, phone, payment details — held only with the manager, access restricted. Not shared with third parties. Deletion on request — within 24 hours.
Communication only through Telegram or WhatsApp. It's a deliberate position: meeting details in writing are more accurate, and end-to-end-encrypted messengers are more reliable than ordinary phone lines. For urgent matters messengers respond faster than the phone.
Free of charge — minimum 12 hours ahead. Later — compensation (usually 30% if the model is already en route). Cancellation an hour before the meeting on the day — payment of half the slot. Rescheduling with the same model — no penalty if she has a free new slot.
Houston is one of the key American hubs of the APEX network. We've been working here since 2012; in the wider network of 48 cities Houston is the fourth American city by load after New York, Los Angeles and Miami. The main zone is Uptown/Galleria and financial Downtown, with River Oaks for private formats and Memorial City for guests doing business in Energy Corridor.
For hotel meetings we use the five-star segment: The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston (our flagship with Forbes Five-Star), Four Seasons Hotel Houston Downtown, The St. Regis Houston in River Oaks, Hotel Granduca with its Italian character, JW Marriott Houston Downtown in the historic 1910 building, Thompson Houston (opened 2023), Hotel ZaZa Memorial City and The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa with its club format on 27 acres. In each we have a settled procedure for receiving the client's guest — no questions at the front desk when coordination is done right.
The hotel choice depends on the scenario. For a guest with business in financial Downtown — Four Seasons or JW Marriott. For private meetings and the media segment — The St. Regis or The Post Oak. For clients with interests in Energy Corridor — Hotel ZaZa Memorial City. For long "city resort" formats — The Houstonian with its Trellis spa.
Steakhouse dinner is the most frequent request: Tony's with its legendary wine list, Steak 48 in Highland Village, Mastro's inside The Post Oak, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Brennan's with Creole cuisine. Hotel meeting — second most frequent. Business accompaniment in financial Downtown and Energy Corridor — a regular format for clients in oil and gas, banking, and the Texas Medical Center cluster. Sport scenarios at NRG Stadium for Houston Texans, at Toyota Center for the Rockets, at Minute Maid Park for the Astros, and separately — Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in March.
The yacht scenario at Galveston Bay and Kemah works April through October. Weekend trips to Galveston, Austin, San Antonio. Client's private locations — apartments in River Oaks, houses in The Woodlands, ranches outside the city — a separate format for returning clients.
Houston runs on the calendar of oil and gas and sport. Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in March — three weeks of maximum load, NRG Park full, Uptown hotels at zero. Offshore Technology Conference in May — four days, delegations from around the world, the OTC audience setting the city's rhythm. Houston Texans season from September through December — every home game at NRG drives demand for corporate boxes. Houston Open PGA in March — overlap with Rodeo, especially dense.
In ordinary periods 80% of meetings fall on Thursday to Saturday from 21:00 to 02:00. Business Houston dines late, and a restaurant at 21:30 is the norm.
Our clients in Houston are top managers in energy companies and oil and gas, bankers from financial Downtown, doctors of the Texas Medical Center, visiting guests in Rodeo week and OTC, foreign company delegations. The shared trait — value placed on time, an understanding of etiquette, a need for service without snags and without publicity. APEX doesn't take requests under two hours, mass events without a personal client, or sharing of model photos with third parties.
Base rates by the American tier: 2 hours — $1,200, 4 hours — $1,800, overnight — $2,500, 24 hours — $4,000, 48 hours — $6,500. Media segment: 2 hours — $3,500, 4 hours — $5,500, the rest by agreement. Payment — Zelle, bank transfer (ACH/Wire), cash USD, USDT by arrangement. For returning clients — post-payment, monthly retainer, flexible terms.
Communication only through end-to-end-encrypted messengers — Telegram and WhatsApp. Client data is held by the manager with restricted access. After the meeting addresses and details are wiped from working chats within 72 hours. Sharing information with third parties is architecturally impossible. Deletion on request — within 24 hours. This is one of the reasons returning Houston clients have worked with us for years.
Returning client for two years. They work in different cities to the same standard — that is especially noticeable now as I move between countries often.
Confidentiality at the level of a Swiss bank. All communications on Telegram, nothing by email, nothing by SMS. After the meeting everything is wiped — I checked.
Dinner with partners — the format went well, the companion looked the part. One downside: the profile did not flag that the model smokes, I found out on site. Not critical, but I will ask next time.
Booked a companion for a four-day business trip. Visa, tickets, accommodation — all through my assistant, the model's fee on a separate track. Logistically clean.
In three years working with APEX there has not been a single meeting that made me want to switch agencies. That says a lot.
